Ship Target Imaging in Airborne SAR System Based on Automatic Image Segmentation and ISAR Technique

The airborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image of ship target will be blurred for the complex motion target, which influence performance feature extraction and classification. In this article, a refocusing method in SAR though inverse (ISAR) technique is presented. novel contributions article can summarized as follows: 1) residual phase processed signal analyzed detail to illustrate necessity adopting ISAR technique; 2) valid, labor-saving, automatic segmentation approach via clustering algorithm put forward data mapping. we choose agglomerative hierarchical cluster algorithm, does not require number categories advance; 3) refocused individual yielded range-instantaneous Doppler algorithm. Finally, simulated real measured are processed, imaging results verify effectiveness presented article.
